When I saw the Gaulino before it was resold in Japan, it had a delicate impression, but when I saw the collection as a whole, it had a completely different look.

Sheep are said to be the second oldest domesticated animals after dogs.
Even though it has a history of nearly 10,000 years, the process by which it happened has not been elucidated. One would think that the relationship began when humans approached the sheep, but did the relationship begin when the sheep approached the humans to seek protection? Disegno's article is very interesting.

“Affinités bookends”
OROS x Chose Commune
Affinités bookends
I think it's important to want to touch it.
This is because it is a step toward becoming interested and knowing the subject.
Tools usually have a shape that explains their function. I'm sure the bookends are too. However, this one that I created together with a ``publisher'' was equipped with loving functions: a book stand (for display) and a bookmark (for bookmarks). I am moved as I understand the meaning behind the sculpture-like shape.
Honestly, ideally I would be happy if I had a large bookshelf. But with bookends, you can easily create a small bookshelf. The books lined up are guideposts that tell you what you are interested in at the time.
When I came into contact with Affinités bookends, I honestly felt their kindness toward people and books. Of course, everyone likes different things, but I would recommend it to everyone who loves books and to people like me who love sculpture.

I didn't know that Polaroid had a manual mode function.
Digital is convenient, but that one shot that comes out of the camera after pressing the shutter is special.

I thought it was amazing when they created the MP02, but I want to support their efforts to take on the huge mobile phone market even more.

At the beginning of the year, I learned that Bouroullec brothers had ended their design activities together.
I don't know if it was enough to make the brothers embittered, but their solo activities over the past few years and the publication of a book under Ronan's name may have been a sign of that.

The annual charity auction held by La Source Garouste was held last week.
Every year, the participating designers select one design piece and reconsider it, and this year's theme was Bouroullec's Belleville. The 53 types of Belleville are worth seeing.

Dutch Design Award.
Super Local
Super Local won this year's Dutch Design Award.
According to an article on Dezeen, more than 80,000 people visit the Himalayas every year, leaving behind 200 tons of waste. When you watch the video, you will be surprised at the amount.
Super Local has designed products made from waste materials and bags for hikers visiting the Himalayas to take their trash home with them. This is a wonderful and innovative system for areas where waste recycling and transportation infrastructure are difficult to establish.
